I graduated from the Lansdale School of Business ( formerly The National Academy of Massage and Healing Sciences). in 2012. I graduated with honors from Neumann University in 2006 with a BSN in Nursing, with experience in critical care, home care and Hospice.
I believe that my nursing background has enhanced my abilities as a massage therapist to provide the best therapeutic massages to improve quality of life. Specifically, being able to listen to my clients and provide the best treatment possible, from a physical, emotional and psychological standpoint.
I began my massage career working in a spa setting, but as soon as the massages became repetitive, I realized that i needed to change my focus and philosophy in order to evolve as a therapist. My focus has changed to a more holistic approach to my practice, integrating the mind, body and spirit connection to help promote wellness. By using multiple modalities to treat the whole person rather than focusing on one system or area helps achieve improved wellbeing and inner balance. Integrating modalities such as: Myofascial Release, Orthopedic and Zero Balancing has further enhanced my perception as a therapist to help promote balance and harmony.
I believe that massage is not just a luxury but an integral part of our well-being and quality of life. It is important that as massage therapists, we actively listen to our clients to provide the best therapeutic massage. My goal is to have each session build on the last session to improve your quality of life.
In order to maintain balance, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, cooking and fishing with my son. I also enjoy going to the gym and learning new treatment modalities to help promote wellness! I'm also a active member of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.
